VCE VET Dance is an excellent way to integrate dancing into VCE and provides a unique opportunity to showcase your dance ability and progress your learning. The VCE VET Dance program is drawn from a national training package and offers portable qualifications which are recognised throughout Australia. These qualifications provide students with a broad range of skills and knowledge to pursue a career or further training in related industries live performance industry. But most of all, VET Dance can give VCE students an energetic outlet while still counting as a VCE subject.
At CODE, we'll assign you one of our talented teachers to choreograph your two required solo dances, tailoring the choreography to your strengths as a dancer. We'll ensure you meet all the conditions necessary for successful completion of the unit, and make sure you have fun in the process!
This opportunity is open to all VET Dance students. You don't need to be a CODE student to dance with us - although we do encourage you give us a try 🙂
Private lessons for VET solos are $40 per 1/2 hour. The time you will need to learn your solos will depend on each dancer (we usually recommend 4 hours to learn each solo). Lessons can be 1/2 hour or 1 hour in duration.
